Kessa Glove
A Kessa glove is a traditional exfoliating glove used in Moroccan bathing rituals to deeply cleanse and remove dead skin from the body.
The Kessa glove is a coarse-textured exfoliating mitt made from woven fabric such as viscose, rayon, or plant fibers. It is an essential tool used in the traditional hammam (steam bath) culture of Morocco.
KEY FEATURES:
• Rough, textured surface for effective exfoliation
• Worn on the hand like a glove or mitt
• Flexible and easy to grip
• Designed specifically for body exfoliation (not for face)
BENEFITS:
• Removes dead skin cells
• Deeply cleans pores
• Improves skin texture and smoothness
• Stimulates blood circulation
• Helps reduce ingrown hairs
• Enhances absorption of moisturizers
HOW IT WORKS:
After softening the skin with warm water or steam, the glove is rubbed firmly over the skin. This friction removes layers of dead skin, often visibly rolling off.
